APVMA approved GREENZONE® Termite & Insect Barrier has launched to the Australian market and registrations for installer accreditation are being accepted.

If you are interested in becoming an accredited GREENZONE® installer click here to be directed to the online registration process.

A number of industry participants have provided reviews and feedback on what they have seen so far. These are strong indicators of how the product will fair in the market. The following provides a sample of these reviews:

… Pest Control Industries would benefit greatly from this product [GREENZONE®] as it would be quick and easy to install, and saving not only time but money and a definite plus not having liquid chemicals on site.

Agserv Pty LtdEris Hess, Managing Director (March 2016)

…we can see the potential to save resources, time and money currently spent of two separate product processes and trade.

Merkon ConstructionsPeter Mercoulia, Construction Manager (May 2016)

The process of combining termite protection and expansion joint foam and lagging into one product will save time and money and reduce the chances of termite protection being forgotten.

Guardian Pest ControlMegan Goldsworthy, Operations Manager (May 2016)

Improve the efficacy of a critical termite protection solution, by combining 2 products, thereby removing the ‘competition’ for space in construction detailing.

ProbuildAlexei Simm, Project Director (May 2016)

Combining innovative termite management systems with installation-know-how is high on Flicks’ agenda. GREENZONE® fits the innovative criteria, acting as a termite management system whilst being a compressible expansion foam commonly used by concreters. This combination has seen that GREENZONE® is being readily accepted by builders as a product that satisfies two construction needs and is cost effective. Flick has successfully installed GREENZONE® in both commercial and residential sites. These installations include infill slabs against both masonry blocks, walls or concrete tilt panels. In the residential market we have incorporated GREENZONE® as the go to product when concrete driveways/pathways are going to impact on the minimum inspection zone requirements... Flick is happy to continue using GREENZONE® and looks forward to working with the GREENZONE® technical team.

Flick Anticimex Pty Ltd Rod Walker - National Pre-Construction Technical Manager

I have found the GREENZONE® Barrier to be a very versatile product. It’s very easy to apply, requiring only one technician. I’ve used GREENZONE® everywhere from domestic residences through to Industrial work sites.
Infill slabs are where GREENZONE® really shines as it doubles up as termite protection and an abelflex for expansion joints.
